We are looking for sponsorship and support..... The foundation have opportunities available to individuals and businesses in the community to build a legacy by lending their name and support to various aspects of the foundation including:

  • Named scolarships and awards
  • Named event sponsors              
  • Named instrument sponsors

2nd Annual Summer Music Boot Camp

LFFTA in cooperation with Booker High School will host its 2010 "Summer Music Camp"

Fifteen to twenty talented students will have the opportunity to participate in the Summer Camp at Booker High School by successfully completing the applications and audition process. Applications are currently being accepted by the foundation and can be downloaded going to the "Awards Requirements" page.

The deadline for applications has been extended to 6/05/2010.

The boot camp will be held Mon. July 26th- Thurs. July 29th, and                             Mon. Aug. 2nd- Thurs. Aug. 5th. With closing ceremony on Aug. 5th

In her usual elegant and sophistication, Lillette Jenkins-Wisner wooed the crowd at the Glenridge performing Arts Theatre at the 5th "Annual Elegant Evening With Lillette" fundraising concert. At times Mrs. Wisner shared the stage with special guest artists, musicians, and students. Lillette's Foundation is dedicated to providing outstanding musical enrichment and learning opportunities for middle school students in the Sarasota/Manatee areas. Through the study and performance of the highest quality musical literature, our programs allow children to develop musical artistry, poise, confidence, and self discipline.

In 2009 LFFTA started an annuual boot camp where the attending students were awarded scholarships to participate.This program is designed to assist performing arts students and serve as the bridge between the middle and high school music programs. Students attend a two week intensive program that covers theory, appreciation, history, and musicianship. The program will enable students to excel in the field of the performing arts. Selected students are asked to perform with Lillette Jenkins-Wisner at the Foundation’s annual gala.
